Women Sport Australia – Partner with STWS for
Australia Sports Innovation Week 2025

Women Sport Australia (WSA) has entered a partnership with STWS for Australia Sports Innovation Week, continuing to lead the change to achieve fairness, inclusivity, and the right for every woman and girl to pursue her passion for sport without judgment, limitations or barriers.

“WSA’s advocacy role in improving the sporting landscape for women and girls is further amplified by the outstanding initiative with the Women In Sport Photo Action Awards (WISPAA). We are shifting visibility and awareness into systemic change by influencing action through the creation of media portrayal guidelines,” said Helena Wurf, President WSA.

“Having a platform where WSA can extend and amplify discourse about Ai and the role it is playing with sport and imagery is important to highlight and impact cultural change in Australian sport.”

WSA is the peak national advocacy body for women and girls in sport in Australia.

WSA is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organisation, incorporated in July 2005, are located across Australia, with a desire to have WSA specific touch points in every major city.

ASIW will create the most valuable experience that showcases and celebrates innovation in the leadership of data, digital, content, careers, research and technology services in sport by connecting collaborators, enablers, investors, creators and partners from all cultures, backgrounds and locations.
