SABEL Labs is a distributed enterprise and research consultancy group currently headquartered at Charles Darwin University, with operations nationally and internationally. We have over a decade of experience in developing sports technologies and in particular wearable technologies. Our technologies are used to enhance sports performance, conduct collaborative cross disciplinary research and as B2B consultancy for product and business development. We also offer SABEL Sense and tools for those wanting to dip their toe into wearables.
Recently we have partnered with Charles Darwin University and the NT Department to create STEMfit.
STEMfit combines physical activity, with wearable technologies to create a fun learning experience in schools that meets national curriculum learning objectives as well.
Our program starts with running, jumping and throwing our in the playground, before heading to the classroom to find out how our bodies move and how they might actually be on par with your favourite athlete.
