The Inmotio system is applied to professional sports training at the highest level for both tactical and physical performance monitoring. Based on real time precise position and heart rate data, player and team performance is measured and stored. The Inmotio system is – or has been – used by top tier sports institutes and clubs such as PSV Eindhoven, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, AJAX Amsterdam, Vitesse Arnhem, Manchester United, KNVB (Dutch F.A.), FC Basel, Red Bull Salzburg, BASPO (multiple indoor sports including hockey and outdoor sports), Aspire and the Korean National Football Federation. In addition, it is applied to handball (Netherlands Olympic Committee), speed skating (Netherlands, Germany and Russia), Ice Hockey and Skiing.
The system is based on state-of-the-art RFID-technology and can be applied outdoor as well as indoor. All data is gathered real time at a measurement rate up to 1.000 measurements per second. The IMO client is used for the recording of the session when the LPM system is in use. All features of the IMO client are related to the capturing of the data from sessions, organized by exercises and parts and including ‘markers’. In addition, all athletes are recorded and (filter) settings are stored to ensure consistent, reliable and accurate data. The analysis can be performed in real-time, using the client software or the IMO Tablet (optional). The IMO client is used for the recording of the session when the LPM system is in use.
