The Barrage Striking Sleeve is designed to wrap around an existing hanging or freestanding punching bag. This sleeve has LED zones and pressure sensors embedded in it so that visual cues are given to the user indicating where to punch or kick the heavy bag. Through this, a user is forced to mix up their striking combinations just as they would if a coach or instructor was telling them what combinations to execute. Through a downloadable app, coaches and fighters can develop workouts routines to follow. Additionally, reaction time statistics can be viewed once the user has completed their workout.
After two years of development, the initial production run for the Barrage Striking Sleeve is right around the corner. We have been working with some of the best Boxing, MMA, Taekwondo, and Karate schools in Arizona to refine the product into a top-notch training device for combat sports. Upon request, we recently added the ability to view reaction time statistics from workouts. This new feature has allowed many fighters and coaches to accurately gauge progress in reaction time and striking accuracy, and also identify areas for reaction time improvement within their fighting style.
