STWS INDUSTRY FRAMEWORK
This Framework was developed to give structure and clarity to the amorphous term “sports technology”. Although the Framework provides an exhaustive overview of the sports tech ecosystem, each category is not mutually exclusive. There will inevitably be companies that fit amongst several categories. Categorizations are therefore based on the company’s primary function and area of product/service expertise. If a company is not present in a chapter it may be because they are better suited to another category.
