Are you passionate about pursuing a career at the intersection of sports and technology? Come hang out with us (virtually) at STWS! You’ll learn about the ins and outs of the global sports technology ecosystem, but also about client relationships and industry dynamics. While our internships are unpaid, they can be eligible for college credit and always have potential for hire.

Who are we looking for?

Our mission is to be the trusted resource in helping companies, teams, and individuals excel in the global sports technology community. We work with our community to bring people together through a global network of physical and digital activities.

Our intern will share that mission and be responsible for continuing to grow these digital initiatives, including the Sports Tech Feed Podcast, Industry Research Reports and consulting client outreach. You will work closely with the Head of North America based in Austin, TX as well as other team members located in Melbourne, Australia. All of the internship will be conducted virtually.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for details, excellent time management skills and the willingness to tackle many different projects. Strong candidates will be well versed in the revolutionary impact technology is having on how sports are played, administered and consumed around the world (and always willing to learn more).

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking a Degree in sports management, analytics, business or related fields.
• Passion for sports and technology. Stays current with the latest trends and technologies in sports.
• Strong research and writing skills with a particular focus on attention to detail.
• Great time management skills, the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines based on timeline requirements.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
